A Denomination Rich in History...
First Christian Church is more than one hundred years
old, but truly young at heart. Started in 1887, First
Christian Church continues to be dedicated to serving
people in the name of Christ. The Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ) is the first Protestant church
started on American soil. Numbering around one million
members in the United States and Canada, The Disciples of
Christ, (as we are called) stress God's acceptance of all
who place their faith in Christ as Lord as well as the
need to live out that faith actively.
